Our Town of Round Top, Texas

Round Top, Texas, was founded in the 1830s and remained a quaint German settlement for many years. Today time still moves slowly and gently here. At the last census, the population numbered only 90, and we daily trade the hustle of the big city for our fresh air and open skies. Wellspring Retreat and Bed & Breakfast is tucked back off the main road and is walking distance of Round Top Square and the World Class Festival Hill Music Institute. It is perfectly situated at the center of excitement during Round Top’s famous Antique Festival. Guests who find themselves with an instant craving for Royer’s Pie are satisfied within a matter of minutes.

Meet Mr. & Mrs. B

Linda and Bob Brunson, the owners, enjoy welcoming guests to rest and enjoy Wellspring.  They were introduced to Round Top in the 80s and made great memories with their family.  When thinking of moving from Houston, Round Top was their first choice. At the turn of the century, they made the move and the B&B evolved.  If Mrs. B has her way, there is more to come.  Beyond being an excellent hostess, Mrs. B is an accomplished event planner and floral designer. Weddings, dinner parties, and planning retreats are all in her wheelhouse.
